Alexis looooves her baths and haaaates putting her pj's on after a bath. Here's some pictures of her naked play and trying to be cute so we won't put her pjs on, crazy girl. I also added some from Carly's visit! It was so good to see her and have a little east coast in my life, even if it was just for 1 weekend, One day she will be here for good, one day! (best line of the weekend: Chris telling college stories; " 'what sport do you play??' 'Does it really matter?' "

I took advantage of Circuit City going out of business sale and replaced my camera's usb cord so I can upload more pictures and get this blog rolling! Matt had a 3-day weekend this past weekend and we took great advantage of the 80 degree weather and took Alexis to the beach. We rode our bikes out to Balboa Peninsula and played on the beach playground. Alexis is such a little climber and completely fearless. She climbs up any ladder, jungle gym, or slide that she comes across and conquers them all. We got to watch the sun set over the Pacific ocean, had some dinner by the sea, Alexis has a new found love of chocolate milk, then threw on our sweatshirts and rode home. I just can't get over that it is the middle of January and this is what we are doing with our lives, it's great!

I know I know I have been majorly slacking lately on the blogging. It's tough when you are traveling around the Holiday season. We just got back from a week in Florida with my family and we had a blast! It was in the 80's all week and sunny everyday. Since it was right after the busy Holiday season my parent's store was slow and they could take a few days out and spend extra time with the Lexi. We went to a New Year's party, the Aquarium, the beach, Busch Gardens, Matt got to golf with my dad and brother and we even snuck a much needed date night. It was a great activity filled week and made me realize how much I miss being close to our families.

We are still in Florida visiting my parents and having a great time. Yesterday we spent the day at Busch Gardens and it was a huge success! Alexis loved riding the train around the park and seeing all the animals, I was a little worried about her sitting still for a 30 minute train ride through the "jungle" but she did much better than I thought she would. She opened ate her raisins and cuddled with Daddy and Maude. Then she took a nap and the inner children in Mommy and Daddy came out to play! I had forgotten how much I love love love rollercoasters. we spent Lexi's afternoon going on rollercoasters, watching Matt torment my mom on Bumper Cars and cheering on my Dad as he won the baby a Care-Bear on the frog tossing game. When she woke up we climbed through this netted maze that was about 100 feet overground, Alexis loved it but Matt and I are still sore from all the bending and climbing (I guess our inner children can't save our adult bones from the rigors of aging). We are going to be heading home in a couple of days to post some more pictures but in the meantime I'll post some of our day at Busch Gardens!
